The Best Life Diet program is a popular lifestyle plan for losing weight. It is famously known as one of the diets endorsed by Oprah Winfrey. Committed people following this plan may expect steady weight loss and better health over time. It is fairly simple to follow, with only three stages, very few restrictions, and gradual lifestyle changes that promote weight loss.

The initial part of the diet is known as Phase One, and lasts up to a month. During this phase, dieters gradually begin to exercise and change their diet habits. Phase Two of the plan lasts about four weeks or longer, depending on how well your weight loss is going. During this phase, dieters continue a healthy approach to dieting and increased exercise. Dieters also face some of the underlying problems that prevent weight loss, such as emotional eating and appetite control issues. Dieters track their progress with weekly weigh-ins and discover healthy diet and exercise habits that let them reach their target weight.
